The Goldfish Condition

16x20 Watercolor in a black frame

Inspired by the vulnerability and performative nature of social

media, this work explores objectification, relationships, and

the discomfort of putting oneself on display. Feeling like a

“fish out of water,” the artist came to see the piece as a self-

portrait.
